Aggregation
The Aggregation element, which functions as a type of Collection Container, serves the purpose of displaying aggregated information concerning items within the Collection where it is placed. This element can be directly inserted into the editor or positioned inside a collection container to target the desired collection.
The Aggregation element offers several available operators:
"Count" reveals the number of elements within the Collection and doesn't require field configuration.
"Sum" calculates the sum of specific field values within the Collection.
"Maximum" showcases the highest value among certain field values within the Collection.
"Minimum" displays the lowest value among certain field values within the Collection.
"Average" evaluates the mean value of particular field values within the Collection.
Additional settings are provided for the results of the Aggregation element:
Number format
Currency format
By default, the Number format adheres to the format established in the Organization settings. Nevertheless, it can be individually customized for each numeric field. The "Custom" option offers greater display flexibility, including options for thousands and decimals separators, the number of decimal places, and text before and after the value.
Currency format allows for the inclusion of currency symbols such as $, €, and £ before the value. The "Custom" option allows for the addition of a custom currency symbol.
The currency symbol will be visible in the generated report but not in the template.
The Aggregation element can be filtered by selecting a field within the current collection container and applying the necessary filter. In the Data tab, you can also establish the period number of values to be used for aggregation and specify the total number of values to include.
If an Aggregation element is placed inside a Collection Container that hasn't been mapped to any collection yet, no options for Aggregation mapping will be available.
Upon selecting the Aggregation in the editor, a bubble panel becomes accessible, offering the following functions:
Navigating to the parent element containing the Aggregation
Dragging the element within the editor
Duplicating the element
Deleting the element
