Update of the Static image input
The popup window for uploading static images is updated. It still allows using links to the images or uploading them from the PC but presented in the new UI.
Click the “Select from uploaded” button to use previously uploaded images.
The previously uploaded images are stored during the login session.
The uploading process occurs in the background and does not block the user from the template editing.
Image optimization
The image optimization in Printable and Email templates is improved, leading to more lightweight PDFs and Emails.
The superficial image size optimization happens when generating the Publication. The final image size optimization occurs when Artifacts (PDF or HTML Email) are generated. This 2-step process ensures that any image edits made during Publication can be executed without fear of quality loss.
Narrowed the Email template editor
Since 600 px width email is “a gold standard” in email marketing, such a width was applied to the Email template editor. Narrowing the email editor prevents the email content's irrelevant display when getting to the Inboxes.
