Composer is functioning outside of AscendixRE
From now on, Composer Online can be used in any Salesforce edition, not only in AscendixRE CRM. The only limitation of using Composer Online is the required access to API within the Salesforce edition. Check your edition here.
Organization domain
As a Salesforce Admin user, set up your organization’s business domain in Composer Online. It can be done during the initial login, or anytime after in Org Settings.
Filter templates based on the domain
The set domain helps the tool automatically filter the predefined templates and display only industry-relevant ones in the default state. The filters can be reset manually.
Connected App popup
A Connected App is a framework that enables an external application to integrate with Salesforce using APIs and standard protocols. In Composer Online, it’s used to save information from filled Forms into Salesforce. Forms functionality is available in the Microsite template type only.
If the Connected App is not set in the Org Settings, the notification popup is displayed once the user creates a Microsite template. Additionally, it appears once the Form Container is added to the editor if setting the Connected App was skipped. This notification indicates that information from Forms on the created landing pages will not be saved into Salesforce leading to potentially missed leads.
Only Salesforce Admin users can set the Connected App up in Composer Online.
Updated Help button
Find the following features under the button:
Tutorial: access tutorials easily right from Composer Online. It will be opened in the new tab and allow implementing recommendations right in the application.
Report an issue: use this feature to report unexpected behavior of the tool or questions about Composer Online’s features.
About Composer Online: the tab contains information about the current application version. This information is relevant during issue triage.
Basic Onboarding
Select the option to onboard to Composer Online during the 1st login.
The “Curious” option triggers a high-level overview of every application page, including an explanation about:

The “Lone Warrior” option skips automatic overviews and allows users to learn the tool individually. Call the major overviews from the Basic Checklist.
The “Reader” option transfers the user to the Help Center to read tutorials before creating templates. The welcome window will remain open to choose whether to pass onboarding or investigate on their own after reading.
