New template format

Microsite is the new template type available in Composer Online. It allows the creation of a 1-page website to encourage the visitors to take a specific action, such as leaving the request, signing up for a newsletter, registering for a webinar or event, or any other action that you decide should be there.

To compose a form for lead collection, use the Form elements available in the Content tab.

The Microsite Publication can be downloaded as a ZIP archive or uploaded directly to the FTP server.

For uploading, the user in the role Manager should set the server credentials in the Org Settings → FTP server tab.

Email template in the Default templates library

Email templates were added as default ones to the Default template library. From now on, they can be used as a prototype of the future Email template.

HTML templates are deprecated

The HTML template format is out of use based on the variety of formats in Composer Online. This format is hidden and cannot be used for new template creation. The previously created HTML templates remain editable.

Forms

Use new structure elements to structure forms:

  • File upload element: allows uploading of files along with the form submission;

  • Checkbox element: allows selecting the multiple items in the form list;

  • Radio button element: allows selecting a single item in the form list;

  • Phone number format element: allows submission of a phone number in the relevant format;

Set up the Service account in the Org settings → AscendixRE CRM tab to unlock the functionality of Forms. It requires only email where to send the notification about the submitted form.

New element in Printable Template

The Table of Contents element allows automatically generating Table of Contents in the documents by using text assigned as Heading. There are 3 levels of heading available.

The Table of Contents element consists of the Headings, decoration Line connecting headings with page numbers, and Page numbers.

The headings are pulled and displayed on a Preview, Publication, and PDF. Page numbers become visible on PDF only. The reason is the process of splitting the HTML report (Publication) into pages according to the selected page format in the last step of report generation. Until that time, the exact number of pages remains undetermined.

Image shapes 

Assign images with any available image to make the report design more stylish. Find the setting in the Data tab of the Image.

Conditional values for Date Fields 

From now on, assign conditions for Date fields and display the relevant information depending on the period.

Mailchimp element

Assign different tags to make emails more personalized. The list of tags includes the following types:

  • campaigns;

  • personalization

  • email subject line

  • email footers.
